often find it difficult to admit their mistakes. That may be because they
have difficulty in believing that they are unconditionally loved and accepted.
We can freely admit our mistakes before God, because
God's unconditional love offers us forgiveness whenever we are willing to
receive it.
How hard it is to understand this, because our
love is so different from God's love.
When we accept God's love in all of its awesome
fidelity, we are enabled to admit who we are, because, whoever we are, we are
always loved.
Knowing that God loves us as He does, we are able
to take risks with others. Even if they reject us, there is always someone
who accepts us for what we are, mistakes and all. |
