A system enabling blind or partially
sighted people to read book and other documents online. Developed by the
US
Library of Congress, Web-Braille documents can be read on-site or downloaded
for later reading on a special Braille display or embosser attached to the
computer. For copyright reasons, Web-Braille publications are currently
available only to Americans from the US National Library Service website and
to eligible overseas citizens, although other countries have announced plans
for similar services. |
