Quicktime is used to add audio and video to websites and other
multimedia applications, and is an alternative to streaming media
products from Real Networks and Microsoft. Despite the fact that
versions are available for both Macintosh and windows platforms,
Quicktime is nowhere near as popular as its competitors and is unlikely to
