A term used by web designers to describe
the placement of content in the exact centre of a web page, no matter what
the size or resolution of the screen on which it is displayed. Jello pages
sometimes spill off the edges of the screen, so designers also use "ice"
pages (in which content has a fixed width and is aligned to the left of the
screen) or "liquid" pages (which reflow to fit snugly in to a display of any
size). |
