door to everything else. Home pages typically provide a comprehensive index
of the site's content and the navigation tools needed to move around
it Usually, the website's main address is also the home page address.
For
web surfers, the home page is the first page that appears when they start
their browser, often a portal or other site preset by their
isp or browser manufacturer. Pressing the "Home" button in the browser
returns a user to this page. Any other site can be specified as the default
browser home page; a search engine, for example, or a different
